I grew up on the vast rolling prairie of North Dakota. My dad’s an immigrant from Bogotá, Colombia, so I’m a first-generation American. My mother is the child of Norwegian- and German-American farmers, so I’m also from a family with a legacy in one of America’s oldest traditions.
At 19, I left the Great Plains for the City of Lakes - Minneapolis, USA.
I live a wonderful life of photography, music and storytelling in the historic lumberjack woods of the St. Croix River Valley.
I'm a poet.
I think a lot about history, nature and the soul.
I’m also a writer of:
Documentary screenplays
Educational books
Creative essays and music criticism
Drama for stage
I love cameras, and I’ve taken thousands of photos. I even used to freelance as a wedding photographer with zeal.
I love singing and performing, and I’ve written plenty of songs.
This place is a storehouse for my stuff.
Welcome. Stay in peace.
